I am a devoted fan of Project Runway, and every season I have an automatic draw to one fabulous designer, and for the most part my draw is right on the money for the top 3 that make it to Fashion Week. This year it's plain to see that my favorite is Christian, because he is so fierce! he should have the RuPaul song "Supermodel" ...you better work~as his soundtrack. Love it, he cracks me up, especially when he manages to stick himself in one of those Mood bags and is carried in by another designer. He may come off as arrogant, but he's young and well, his designs are good so leave him be. Unlike some of the other designers, he gets to it and comes out with these fabulous creations, while others struggle to put together a skirt. I hope he wins this season! He goes right up there with my other favorite Project Runway designer "Santino" :) ....Make it Work!

FIERCE

Hollywood
My favorite issue of Vanity Fair is currently on stands now, and I just love Annie Leibovitz, she does remarkable work. I especially love how they styled all the girls this year, Dior by John Galliano designed the dresses exclusively for the shoot. Such classic, old hollywood glamour, I love it! My favorites in this picture have to be America Ferrera from Ugly Betty, of course! Amy Adams (who I absolutely loved in Enchanted), Emily Blunt ~Devil Wears Prada~ Anne Hathaway, and Ginnifer Goodwin (Big Love & Mona Lisa Smile). This is why Vanity Fair is by far one of my favorite magazines, there's vintage beauty to all their photos.

In search of a duvet
I've been searching for about a year for a perfect duvet cover so that my bedroom can finally come together. Right now my bed is a fashion disaster. Pillows of different colors, a comforter with no duvet and my boyfriend's old blanket that he refuses to give up. Needless to say a bed collection or some resemblance of one is on my to do list. I have a crate and barrel balcony bed. The first possibility is this duvet cover from West Elm. It's organic and not that expensive.
Wedding possibilities
Ok, while a wedding is not in the near future for me I can't help but plan ahead. A girl can dream can't she?! Here's a wedding board I created, my inspiration comes from the fall and my love for the colonial period. It has been pretty difficult finding things that I like, some fall theme weddings tend to go harvest crazy, or the pumpkin decorations appear tacky. I want something more rustic meets contemporary, old meets new. Suggestions welcomed!
Satisfying the empty hole that Sex & the City left
Thank you ABC for once again bringing joy to my television experience. I've practically seen every episode of Sex and the City about a dozen times on HBO Demand. When I heard that there was going to be a Sex and the City movie I was ecstatic but it still wouldn't fill the void in my fashionista televison experience, but then along came Cashmere Mafia. It is so refreshing and exciting to see amazing outfits that I can try to recreate in my own poor student way, and the characters are lovable. I already have my favorites, I love Juliet Drapers elegant style, and Mia's 'carrie-sque' fashion risks. So applauds all around!
To wear or not to wear
I love the look of the American Apparel leggings, its something new and bold. But without a store nearby I'm left to determine whether the look will be right on me. I love the black eel and the gutsy red and silver pairs. Of course I will definitely rock them on a night out when I'm feeling fierce, and after watching Bravo's "Make Me a Supermodel" the leggings made an appearance in the final runway looks and now the urge is back to buy them. So has anyone bought them, loves, hates...
