New Years Eve Dress
Happy New Years Eve!! I found this fantastic bohemian dress at Zara a few weeks back and knew instantly that this was going to be my outfit for New Years. The dress is super comfortable and I love the pattern. To my relief it is back to being warm down south just in time for me to wear this dress. Shoes were a great find from Nine West and the watch is Michael Kors.
I hope everyone has a safe and Happy New Year! Would love to know what you plan to wear tonight for the big countdown?!

Shop Gypsy
Gypsy is an underwear line out of Hawaii. The brand is based on a "free-spirited lifestyle - the sand in your toes, a cold dip in the ocean, freckled skin and smiles, sunshine, bleached out salty hair and flowers everywhere." The pictures caught my eye right away, and some of these undies could pass easily as bikini bottoms. Love the style and can't wait to get my hands on any of these great looking underwear.

Family and Photos
So the big surprise waiting for me under the Christmas tree was a brand new Canon camera! I was so surprised and excited, and right away I began to play around with the different features of the camera. Then as I was about to post today about my great gift some family from New York stopped by before they boarded their holiday cruise (lucky!). It was a great day filled with lots of laughter and hugs and that is what the holidays are all about! Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and are enjoying a nice break with their family.

Baking Cookies for Santa
I have been on a hunt to find the perfect cookie recipe for Christmas. With Christmas Eve dinner just one day away I found this cute recipe for a Snowman cookie and a fantastic idea for a place card all courtesy of Sweet Paul blog. Happy Holidays!!
Snowman Cookies: Recipe courtesy of Sweet Paul
Makes 12 snowmen 1 batch sugar cookie dough
1 small batch of peppermint cookie dough (see Sweet Paul Magazine)
Confectioners’ sugar
Water
Shredded coconut
1/4 cup melted chocolate
1 small piece of orange fondant
1 piece of red and white string
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Cut out 3 different circles of the sugar cookie dough (small, medium and large).
Place them on top of each other to create a snowman shape.
Press them gently together and transfer to a parchment-paper-covered baking tray.
Cut out small hats using the peppermint cookie dough and place on the same tray.
Bake for about 8 to 12 minutes.
Cool on a wire rack.
Mix confectioners’ sugar and water until smooth.
Cover the snowman with frosting and dip into coconut.
Add extra frosting to his head and place the hat.
Use melted chocolate in a piping bag to make buttons and a band for his hat.
Take a small piece of fondant to create a thick carrot. Fasten with a small amount of frosting.
Tie a string around the next as a scarf.

My Best Friend's Wedding
Last night was my friend's wedding and it was fantastic. From the beautiful Catholic ceremony to the gorgeous reception it was a great time shared by all. I got to see many of my old school mates and the big attraction at the reception was of course the photo booth. Many trips were taken to the photo booth, and with each new occassion another member of the wedding was brought in, until we were packed in like sardines. For now here are some of my favorite photos from "the booth":
